FAQ

  • A wedding coordinator or point of contact must be present for all weddings throughout the event.

    • If The Homestead secures a coordinator, an additional fee (not to exceed $500) will apply.

  • Cleaning: Clients must place all trash in designated areas and remove all personal property and equipment before the end of the event.

  • Incidental Fee: A $500 fee is due with final payment and covers potential damages, theft, or failure to clean.

    • It is refundable within seven business days after inspection, with any deductions itemized.

  • Catering: The Homestead does not provide catering but welcomes outside vendors.

    • No frying is allowed in the kitchen; vendors may set up in the designated catering area.

  • Chef’s Prep Kitchen includes an induction cooktop, 3 convection ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 sinks, and ample counter space.

  • A golf cart is available to assist elderly guests or those with mobility challenges across uneven terrain.

  • Set-up and breakdown of venue-provided tables and chairs are handled by The Homestead staff.

    • The venue is not responsible for items brought in by clients or outside vendors.

  • No nails, drilling, or staples are allowed on walls.

    • All décor must be pre-approved and use approved adhesives only.

  • Tent rentals must be set up and removed on the same day of the event.

  • Venue access is limited to contracted times.

    • 8 hours for weddings and 4 hours for smaller events.

  • Prohibited items include rice, confetti, fireworks, and firearms.

    • Candles must be enclosed in glass votives or floating.

  • Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

  • Food trucks are welcome.

  • Alcohol is not provided by The Homestead. If served, it must be provided by a licensed and insured vendor, with verification required upon request.

  • All vendors must be licensed and insured, with proof of compliance available upon request.

  • DJs and live musicians are welcome.

    • All setup plans must be approved in advance by The Homestead staff.

  • Tours are available by appointment. Please contact burgehomesteadvenue@gmail.com to schedule a visit.

  • Deposits are required to reserve your date.

    • $1,000 for weddings and 50% for showers/small events.

    • All deposits are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

  • Event insurance is required for all events, and proof of coverage must be provided prior to the event.
